The idea for Pawsome Pet Lodge began back in 2011 when Ulandi, a pet lover and animal care enthusiast, saw the need for a more compassionate approach to pet care.
In 2017, she and her husband Pieter turned this vision into a reality by creating a space where dogs could roam free, socialize, and feel at home.
Today, we have lots of happy doggie clients and hundreds of satisfied owners.

Deworming and Flea/Tick Treatment:
Please make sure your dog’s deworming and flea/tick treatments are up to date.
For any period of 14 days or more, please deworm them again after their stay.
Do not administer treatments the day before or on check-in day, as it is essential to monitor your dog afterward at home.
Timing of Treatments: Administer these treatments at least 1 to 2 days apart. They should not be given on the same day.
Example:
-Day 1: Deworming (Milbemax is recommended)
-Day 2: Spot-on treatment (e.g. Frontline)
Vaccinations:
Keeping vaccinations current is crucial for the health and safety of all dogs.
Any required vaccinations that is outstanding must be completed at least 2 to 4 weeks before the check-in date.
We accept dogs who had their vaccines given in the last 3 years.
Required Vaccinations:
Rabies: Acceptable every 3 years
5-in-1 Annual Vaccine: Acceptable every 3 years
Kennel Cough (Not Mandatory):
The injection must be administered at least 4 weeks before check-in.
Nose drops can be given 72 hours prior, but we recommend at least 1 to 2 weeks beforehand to minimize vaccine shedding.
Vaccination Guidelines for Older Dogs and Puppies:
Older Dogs (7 years and older): Do not require up-to-date vaccines, they are now immune enough not to get any vaccines further.
Puppy Requirements: We accept puppies aged 4 months and older during the year, provided they have completed the following vaccination schedule:
6 Weeks: 5-in-1 Vaccine
9 Weeks: 5-in-1 Vaccine
12 Weeks: 5-in-1 Vaccine + Rabies
16 Weeks: 5-in-1 Vaccine + Rabies
December Periods: Puppies must be at least 6 months and older.
Yes, we have been doing this for many years and have a zero tolerance on aggressive, dominating, and excessive mounting behavior.
- Increased Sleep:
When your dog comes home and sleeps a lot, it usually indicates they had a great, active time at Pawsome. Our focus on health and mental stimulation helps prevent undesirable behaviors, so they may just need to relax and catch up on sleep.
- Excitement and Upset Stomach:
While we maintain strict hygiene and ensure all pets are up to date on preventative medications, loose bowel movements can occur after boarding. This is often a temporary condition called colitis, triggered by excitement from reuniting with you. If symptoms persist for more than a few days, contact your vet.
- Clinginess or Indifference:
If your pet is either clingy or ignoring you upon returning home, this is often a sign of separation anxiety. Both behaviors are normal as they adjust back to being home.
