Pawsome Pet Lodge

Terms and Conditions

Pet Lodge with a kennel-free environment for dogs

Our terms and conditions clarify what is done from our side and expected from you to ensure a safe stay for your furry friends.
Please refer to our FAQ for more information as well.
Our intention is to ensure both you, your pet and we have the same expectations.
Before we can confirm your booking, we need you to accept our terms and conditions.

I understand/agree that I am solely responsible for any harm or major damage caused by my dogs whilst he/she is boarding at Pawsome Pet Lodge.
I further understand that it is my responsibility to inform management if my dog has any aggression problems towards other dogs, workers, food etc before they can be booked in at Pawsome. Pawsome will not take in any aggressive dogs if there are any signs shown before we let them meet the other dogs. We have the right to cancel the reservation for your dog.
Although we take all precautions to prevent any of these risks, Pawsome and its staff are in no way liable for death or injury from illness, escape or from any cause whatsoever to your dog while they are in our care. Your dog’s safety is of utmost importance to us.
Should we find that your dog/s is a risk to other dogs or staff, we reserve the right to request that your dog/s find other accommodation. We try to handle it as far as possible but we always want to offer a free roaming, safe and social environment for all our guests.
It is of utmost importance to inform us if you know your dog may come in season or that she is already in season. Pawsome will not take in a dog that is in season. Should a dog come into season at Pawsome we will take care to separate her if we have male dogs that can cause a disruption. We cannot be held liable if the female that is in season gets together with a male if we took precautions to separate her.
I accept that whilst my dog is boarding at Pawsome, they are socialised with other dogs and although Pawsome closely and carefully supervise the dogs at all time, it is still possible (but not common) for my dog to get small scratches from playing with other dogs. Therefore I fully authorise the staff to treat any minor injuries with my consent. I accept this risk – as long as it is pointed out to me by a staff member upon collection of my dog.
I further understand that Pawsome and their staff will not be liable financially (or other) for any problems that develop, if professional care and precautions are followed whilst my dog is in their care. Therefore, Pawsome and their staff are exempt of any liability whatsoever arising from my dogs stay and participation whilst he or she is placed in their care.
I understand that if a problem develops with my dog, eg. Illness or injury that I will accept full financial responsibility for any and all expenses involved. I also give Pawsome permission that my dogs should be taken to the vet if a serious problem has occurred and I am not available.
I also authorize Pawsome to obtain my dog’s medical records or treatments from my veterinarian or from their own vet in the event of injury or illness. By signing our document, I also authorize the relevant veterinarian to provide them with such records upon request.
Medication: Please mark you dogs’ medications clearly with their names and the dosage. The medication container with the days of the week on works well.
If my dog arrives with fleas and / or other parasites at Pawsome, they reserve the right to deny access for the general protection of the premises and other dogs from infestation. Please make sure your dog’s treatment are up to date.
Pawsome cannot be held liable for any dogs that contract a disease during their care. Pawsome is doing its best to maintain a germ free environment and treats the premises (indoors and outdoors) on a regular basis to ensure good hygiene.
I accept that if my dog is checked in at Pawsome, there may be a moderate weight loss due to:
High activity and socialising with other dogs and being more active in this time than at their own home environment.
We found that many dogs at home get table food and at Pawsome only high quality dog food (Ultra dog Optiwoof) (or their own food) are given to prevent any stomach ailments.
N.B.: We promise that your dog will under no circumstances lose weight due to malnutrition and negligence. It is a very serious matter for us to make sure your dog is well looked after.
I give permission for my dog to be photographed / videotaped, and/or used in any advertising or media purposes without prior approval by me. All such materials are the property of Pawsome Pet Lodge.
